A deep dish with a flat everted rim, narrowing down to a ring base. Red earthenware, with a white slip on the inside, painted over in brown, and finished with a transparent, colourless glaze. At the center of the dish are curvilinear floral forms composed of sweeping brush strokes, bordered on the rim by two stripes sandwiching a spaced-out series of droplets, while the outer surface has been left with neither slip nor glaze. The rim is shallowly chipped at one point, and the glaze has come off here and there on the inside.
